American Homeplace sampler.

American Homeplace is a follow-up to Homeplace, a documentary shot in 1972 on 16mm film.

In May of 2013 we went to discover what's new in North Mississippi and rural America. We went back to some of the locations of the old film, some new places and started the gathering of the bits and pieces.

Katie worked with the old and new material to see the various ways they work together. Here's a sample of the marterial centered on music in Mississippi.

In July of 2014. The crew will be heading down to Mississippi for a 10 days of producton.
